AFTER SCHOOL HOOPS SESSION 2

OVERVIEW

Back by popular demand is “After School Hoops!” We once again look forward to providing elite basketball training in a fun and safe environment for all.

Each session will feature an “Emphasis of the Day” and “Thought of the Day.”

CAMP HOURS/COST

“After School Hoops” begins September 20th and ends October 1st on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday of each week. Cost for the 2 weeks session is $325. If for any reason you choose to cancel we will fully refund up to one week before the start of camp minus a $20 processing fee. No refunds will be given after Sept. 13th. In the event that a session is rained out a makeup session will be provided at the next opportunity.

REGISTRATION

Prior to the start of camp you will be informed of your camper’s denoted team name and September 20th check in time. Your camper will receive an official Azzi Academy shirt. At check in funds can be added to the Camp Store.

DROP OFF AND PICK UP

Please walk your camper to the outdoor basketball courts at MVMS where each coach will check in your camper at their designated team basket. Parents/guardians must have a note or inform the site director if anyone else is going to pick up your camper.

CAMP STORE

Camp store snacks and drinks are available for purchase. No peanuts or chocolate will be distributed. Parents can add cash to the camper account, which acts as a debit system.

COVID-19 MEASURES

    • Camp is entirely outdoors at Mill Valley Middle School at 425 Sycamore Avenue.

    • A portable restroom with an internal wash station will be on site for use and professionally cleaned/sanitized after each session.

    • Face coverings are highly recommended for all unvaccinated participants.

    • No outdoor basketballs are permitted. Each team will have brand new Azzi Academy basketballs.

    • All equipment is sanitized at the end of each session.

    • Coaches will reinforce hand washing throughout the session and teach the proper way to cover coughs and sneezes. Hand sanitizer will be available to all coaches and campers.

    • Campers will space out during water/snack breaks.

    • No sharing of drinks or snacks.

    • Campers are encouraged to bring water bottles to camp with their name clearly labeled.

  • How are teams made? Teams are separated by age, gender, friend requests, and skillset

  • Facial coverings? Highly recommended for unvaccinated participants

  • Tournament? Yes! We will be holding a 3 vs 3 tournament within each division. Medals/trophies will given to the winning teams.
