With achievements ranging from seven hall of fame inductions, Olympic Gold Medal, Stanford National Championship, Two World Championships, Naismith Award, Wade Trophy, successful WNBA career, and coaching the University of San Francisco Women’s Basketball team to its first NCAA tournament appearance in 20 years, Jennifer Azzi’s achievements have firmly established her as one of the most accomplished figures in sports. Today, the Azzi Academy founder is also an NBA Global Director and Director of Special Initiatives at the University of San Francisco. Off the court, Jennifer is a well-regarded speaker, author and community supporter, and serves as an ambassador for the sport both locally and internationally.

BLAIR HARDIEK
CEO

Blair Hardiek is known for her ability to identify, cultivate and inspire young talent. The former four-year captain of her University of Missouri basketball team, Blair went onto an equally successful coaching career where she gained the reputation of being one of the most brilliant strategic minds in college coaching. From skill development to designing offensive strategies to recruiting and scheduling, Blair was instrumental in taking USF from one of the worst programs in the country to a WCC Championship and an NCAA run. In addition to her work as CEO of the Azzi Academy, Blair Hardiek is an NBA Global Director focused on developing basketball curriculum for academies in Australia, China, India, Africa and Mexico.

Preston Cheek
Coach

Preston has been a dedicated coach at Azzi Academy for nine years. He has a gift with young athletes and knows how to get the most out of each camper with his passionate coaching style. Coach Cheek is San Francisco born and bred, and cares deeply about basketball and character development of youth in his local community. While Athletic Director at St. Charles Borromeo School, he led the 8th grade boys team as head coach to their first ever conference championship. Currently, Preston is an active member of the Northern California Basketball Officials Association and can be seen in gyms across the Bay Area. He is Director at Compass High School in San Mateo where he inspires 8th-12th graders to be their very best in the classroom and in life.

Triana Anderson
Coach

Triana, a San Francisco native and alumni of Lowell High School, is a recent graduate of Occidental college where she majored in Physics/Geology and minored in Spanish. She played for four years on the Occidental Women’s Basketball team where she notched over 1,000 points and earned two SCIAC All Conference 1st Team Honors. She is currently working in environmental conservation on federal public lands before applying to graduate school. She has been a coach at Azzi camp for four years and loves working with kids, especially watching them apply the skills they learn during the week in their scrimmages and in their school basketball seasons. Triana believes proper nutrition leads to optimal athletic performance.

Tyler Idowu
Coach

 Tyler attended Rodriguez High School in Fairfield, CA. He is a natural teacher and understands how to motivate young people. Basketball has always been a part of his life since he was young. He graduated with most points scored in school history. Tyler then went on to play college basketball at St. Martin’s University. He works for NBA2K gaming system and runs camps all over the Bay Area with the Golden State Warriors. He has an outgoing personality that brings out a competitive spirit in all campers. His enthusiasm creates a fun and upbeat environment where campers leave for the day excited for the next.

Kendahl Wallis-Lang
Coach

Kendahl went to Pinewood High School where she was a basketball and softball Varsity Team Captain. She is a high achiever that strives for excellence in all aspects of her life. Kendahl recently graduated from Occidental College where she graduated with a double major in Biology and Kinesiology. She played college basketball all four years. Kendahl wants to be a pediatrician and is currently studying for the medical school admission test. Right now she is working as an Autism Behavior Therapist. Kendahl has been coaching at Azzi Academy for four years and loves seeing the campers return to session improved and hungry to take their game to the next level.

Justin Idowu
Coach

Justin has a longtime history with the Golden State Warriors and their youth development initiatives. He has worked countless camps and clinics with the best in the game and knows what it takes to take a player to the next level. Justin is an experienced coach that focuses on elite guard development.  His workouts/driils are fast paced and challenging.  He attended Rodriguez High School in Fairfield, CA and went on to play at College of Siskiyous where he led the team from the point guard position. His leadership, character and hard-working tendencies have made him successful in the game and in life.

Zhane Dikes
Coach

Zhane attended Bishop Gorman in Henderson, NV where she won a 4A State Championship in 2010. She went on to earn a scholarship from Head Coach Jennifer Azzi at the University of San Francisco where earned a BA in Business Finance. Her basketball honors include All WCC Freshman team, and 3 years on the All WCC Team. She led her team to a WCC Conference Championship, and onto play in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in two decades. She holds the USF records for most minutes played by a male or female, and most free-throws made.  After college, she went on to play professional basketball overseas in Germany for Herner TC Basketball. She is a real estate agent for The Agency in San Francisco.
